Ruthie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in August 2024 and began her career as a nurse in the cardiac unit at Duke Regional Hospital. Ruthie has always been drawn to holistic, patient-centered care, and her passion for psychiatric medicine continues to grow. Ruthie values the unique blend of human connection and complex science that psychiatry and nursing bring together. Outside of work, Ruthie enjoys crocheting, hiking, and playing guitar.
